There’s a particular kind of skin frustration. A lot of people in Delhi know well skin that isn’t bad exactly, but isn’t what it used to be either. Pigmentation patches that showed up after years of sun exposure and never left. Redness sitting stubbornly across the cheeks and nose. Pores that look larger than they should. Fine lines starting to settle in, and an overall unevenness that makes the skin look older and more tired than it actually feels. Brightening serums, SPF, vitamin C, and exfoliants help maintain things, but they rarely move the needle on damage that’s been building up for years; that's the gap Photoradiance TSDF Photofacial is built to close. Photoradiance TSDF is an advanced photofacial treatment that delivers precisely controlled light energy through a technology called TSDF Targeted Selective Delivery of Frequencies to treat specific skin concerns at a depth topical products simply can’t reach. It works on the principle of selective photothermolysis: specific wavelengths of light are absorbed selectively by particular targets in the skin (melanin in pigmentation, haemoglobin in visible blood vessels and redness) while leaving surrounding healthy tissue untouched. That absorbed energy converts to heat, the targeted cells break down, and the body clears them away naturally over the following days leaving clearer, more even, more radiant skin because the underlying issue has actually been addressed, not just covered up. What sets the TSDF component apart from standard photofacial technology is precision rather than delivering one broad, generalised pulse of light across the board, TSDF allows the exact concern being treated (deep pigmentation, visible redness, textural irregularity, or the more subtle structural changes that come with photoageing) to be targeted specifically. A session typically runs 30–45 minutes depending on the area being treated. Available at Dr. Nivedita Dadu’s Clinic Vasant Vihar (South Delhi) & Rajouri Garden (West Delhi).

The idea behind selective photothermolysis is that different targets in the skin absorb different wavelengths of light; melanin absorbs certain frequencies strongly, haemoglobin absorbs others, and healthy surrounding tissue absorbs neither efficiently. TSDF is built around that selectivity: instead of firing one broad-spectrum pulse at the whole treatment area, it allows the energy to be directed specifically at whichever target is actually causing the concern, whether that’s a pigmented patch, a web of visible capillaries, or general redness.
That precision does double duty. The immediate effect is breaking down the targeted pigment or vessel so the body can clear it over the following days which is what produces the tone and redness improvement patients notice first, usually within one to two weeks. But the heat generated in that process also triggers a collagen and elastin response in the surrounding tissue, which is why pore appearance, fine lines, and skin firmness tend to improve more gradually, over the course of several sessions, rather than all at once. It’s this combination of a fast pigment/redness correction layered on top of a slower structural rebuild that distinguishes TSDF from a single-purpose photofacial.
Most patients describe a mild snapping or warm sensation with each pulse rather than significant pain. A cooling gel is applied beforehand to keep the area comfortable.
Tone and redness improvement is often visible within one to two weeks, while collagen-related changes (firmness, pore appearance) build over the following months. Results are cumulative across a structured course, and the exact number of sessions is decided during the skin assessment.
Minimal. Pigmented areas may darken briefly and flake off over about a week, and skin can look flushed right after a session, but most people return to their normal routine with just sun protection as the main precaution.
A range of skin types and tones, though a skin assessment is required first to confirm candidacy and calibrate the right settings for your skin.
Cost depends on the area treated and the number of sessions needed confirmed during consultation at Dadu Medical Centre(Vasant Vihar or Rajouri Garden).
