What to expect from the DMC-Neoclone® treatment?

  • Before treatment
During the initial consultation patient’s medical history, medications, and many more things are discussed. The current health condition plus the expectations of the patient is discussed thoroughly before the treatment begins. A numbing cream is applied 15 minutes prior to the treatment.
  • In the treatment process
With the help of a TIXEL device is applied to the area which needs to be treated. When this TIXEL touches the surface of the skin creates micro-injuries in the skin. TIXEL is an array of tiny pins that have titanium tips, which are pyramidal in shape. This is about 20 microns in size and covers 1cm to 2cm of the size of the treatment.

This treatment works in three modes

  • Ablative- it is an aggressive type wherein deep or shallow injuries are made to the skin to trigger the production of collagen. it exfoliates the superficial skin layers to reveal the young and healthy skin cells.
  • Non-ablative is best for the darker skin type- this type does not harm the skin surface and uses the thermal energy to heat within the dermal layers. It triggers a natural healing process to stimulate the fibroblasts for repairing the skin cells and boosts collagen and the production of elastin. It also results in open channels that allow for the delivery of topical serums or products into the skin.
  • Open channel- it is similar to micro-needling but proven better as it creates micro-channels in the skin for infusing it with products that replenish and nourishes the skin. It is performed for treating melasma and hyperpigmentation.

Then in the next step, a small amount of the patient’s blood is withdrawn from his arm and then centrifuged to separate the components of the blood. The growth factor-rich layer is extracted and a very small amount of it is injected into the skin having micro-injuries using the needles. The natural growth factors and essential proteins help in the fast healing of wounded areas by promoting the regeneration of the cells and thus stimulating the new collagen and also the production of the fibers. The duration of the treatment depends upon the size of the area to be treated and also the extent of the condition of the skin.
